The CitySites program was established by the City of Kettering to develop a public art program in Kettering through the installation and maintenance of public works of art. The Art in Public Places Committee was established through resolution by the Kettering City Council in 1998 to oversee, program and develop a collection of public art through a fund of 1% of the previous year's capital expenditures.

Kettering Parks/Create Community

Become part of an exciting public artwork in two of Kettering’s newly renovated parks.  Kettering residents are invited to help design and create two original works of art in Kennedy and Wenzler Parks.  Local artists, Tess Little, Kaethi Seidl and Beth Holyoke, will lead individuals and families through the process of creating community hands-on permanent works of art.  The final installations will provide the community with a memorable and creative experience that will remain in place for the public to enjoy for years to come.

We invite individuals of all ages and Kettering families to participate in Kettering Parks/Create Community by calling Rosewood Arts Centre at 296-0294 for information on how to become involved.  To learn more about Kettering Parks/Create Community project and the CitySites public art program, READ MORE...
