Fitness & Wellness Center Indoor Track Information

The 1/8th-mile Mondo-surfaced indoor track provides runners with a safe and enjoyable road-side alternative, void of traffic, animals and mother nature's wrath.

The track is 1/8 of a mile, meaning that 8 laps equals a mile.
The track will be closed for after school practices from 3:00-5:30 p.m. during school days.
The track will also be closed for ticketed arena activities (see complete list below).
Monthly schedule is available at the fitness center front desk.

TRACK HOURS

Children ages 5+ must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Monday - Friday: 6:00 am - 10 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Sunday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm (Labor Day through Memorial Day)

TRACK RULES

Please adhere to the following rules & regulations. The indoor track becomes very busy at times and, in the best interest of your safety and others’, it is imperative that all rules are followed. In addition to these posted rules, please exercise common courtesy.

Spectators are strictly forbidden on the track. For safety reasons, please do not stop while on the track. If you need to rest, please do so in one of the corner areas.
Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Caution must be used when entering and exiting the track.
As a courtesy to others, please refrain from using all perfumes/colognes (some perfumes/colognes aggravate asthmatic conditions and other respiratory illnesses).
Please consult a physician before using any of our recreation facilities and/or equipment and before beginning a workout program.
Walk only in the direction of the arrow posted on the track.
WALK on the inside lane – RUN on the outside lane – PASS on the middle lane. Be especially cautious when entering and exiting from the track. Always look before passing or crossing a lane (the person in that lane has the right of way). Sprinting on the track is prohibited due to safety reasons.
Walk no more than two abreast (side-by-side). Three abreast is unsafe, not conducive to traffic flow and not allowed.
Strollers and carriages on the track surface are forbidden.
All non-walking children (infants or toddlers) must be secured to the accompanying adult by means of an appropriate pack or harness (strollers are not permitted).
Do not carry anything that may obstruct another walking/running lane or injure another patron.
Proper, clean footwear, with rubber or crepe soles, is required on the track surface.
Coat racks are located in the fitness center before entering the Arena. Personal items may also be kept in the corners as long as they are clear of and do not interfere with the walking/running surfaces.
We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
Food and drink are forbidden on the track – no exceptions!
